Aspire Scholarship Program 2025–26: Empowering Future Engineers from Underprivileged Backgrounds
In a bid to assist promising yet financially disadvantaged students aiming for engineering excellence, the SWAYAM Charitable Trust, in collaboration with Buddy4Study, has launched the Aspire Scholarship Program 2025–26. This CSR initiative supports deserving first-year B.Tech students at some of India’s premier engineering institutes.
Program Overview
The Aspire Scholarship is a need-based, renewable scholarship designed to alleviate the burden of academic expenses, including tuition, hostel fees, food, and other educational costs, over the full four-year duration of the engineering program.
Eligible Institutions
Students pursuing B.Tech first-year courses at the following 11 institutions are eligible to apply:
- IIT Kharagpur, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Patna, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Goa
- IIITDM Jabalpur, IIIT Delhi, IIIT Naya Raipur (IIIT NR)
- Jabalpur Engineering College
- National Institute of Advanced Manufacturing Technology (NIAMT), Ranchi
Eligibility Criteria
- Enrollment in first-year B.Tech at one of the above institutions
- Annual family income must not exceed INR 6 lakh
- Applicants should not be receiving any other scholarship (self-declaration required)
- Children of certain associated entities (Apollo Trading, SWAYAM Trust, Buddy4Study, etc.) are ineligible
Benefits
- Scholarships are awarded to 28 students per year
- Covers a comprehensive range of academic expenses—tuition, accommodation, food, etc.
- Renewable each year, up to the program’s completion
